Class Options
Below you will find a variety of class suggestions that we can offer at your event. This is not an exhaustive list and we are open to any class ideas that you may have as well. Let the suggestions below spark your imagination as to all that is possible with water marbling! I have included age ranges appropriate for each class, time frame needed to complete each class and a minimum participant suggestion. Please call or e-mail with any questions you may have. Prices vary based on the location of your event.
Silk Scarf Class
In this class water marble your very own 100% Habotai Silk Scarf 11x60 inches in size. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to make specific designs. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 8 years old and up. We have had younger children participate if it is being made as a gift (we have found the scarf is a bit long for younger children to use themselves. The youngest we have had create one is 2 yrs. old but must be held by a parent to do so. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 24 people. For 10 people this class will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours for 24 people it will take 2 1/2 - 3 hours. With this class you can add on neck ties and bow ties.
Neck Tie & Bow Tie Class
In this class water marble your very own 100% Polyester neck tie or self tie bow tie. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to make specific designs. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 15 years old and up. We have had younger children participate if it is being made as a gift (the ties are adult size and are too big for younger children to use themselves). The youngest we have had create one is 2 yrs. old but must be held by a parent to do so. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 24 people. For 10 people this class will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours for 24 people it will take 2 1/2 - 3 hours. With this class you can add on silk scarfs.
Bandana Class (Silk or Cotton)
In this class water marble your very own 100% Habotai Silk or 100% Cotton Bandana 21x21 inches in size. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to make specific designs. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 5 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 24 people. For 10 people this class will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours for 24 people it will take 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Silk Bandanas do cost more to make than the Cotton Bandanas.
Hat Class (Baseball or Painter Style)
In this class water marble your very own 6-panel cotton Baseball Hat or Painter Style Hat. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to make specific designs. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 5 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 24 people. Canvas Shoe Class (tie up or slip on)
In this class water marble your very own Canvas Shoes (tie up or slip-on). You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to make specific designs. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 5 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 24 people. Lamp Shade Class
In this class water marble your very own Lamp Shade 9x8. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 5 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 20 people. For 10 people this class will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours for 20 people it will take 2 1/2 hours. Deposit Required for this class.
Leather Bracelet Class
In this class water marble your very own Leather Bracelet with snap closure. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 9 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 25 people. For 10-15 people this class will take 1 hour for 15-25 people it will take 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
Ceramic Coaster Class
In this class water marble your very own 4x4 Ceramic Coasters. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 10 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 25 people. For 10 people this class will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours for 25 people it will take 2 - 3 hours. (cork backing sent home with you to finish)
Ceramic Ornament/Magnet Class
In this class water marble your very own flat Ceramic Ornament or Magnet (items are seasonal). You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 4 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 25 people. For 10 - 15 people this class will take 1 hour for 15 - 25 people it will take 2 hours.
2 Session Classes
Leather Belt Class
In this class water marble your very own 100% solid Genuine Leather Belt. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 16 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 10 people but can accommodate up to 24 people. For 10 people this class will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours for 24 people it will take 2 - 3 hours. Deposit required for this class.
Custom Clothing Class
In this 2 part class water marble your very own piece of custom clothing. You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. In the first session you will marble a variety of patterns. The second session you will decide on the design and the item of clothing you would like to create. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 16 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 5 people but can accommodate up to 10 people. **Men are welcome in this class as well. **We can make men's rash guard shirts and sweatshirts! First session will be roughly 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Second session will be roughly 2 - 3 hours.

3D Ceramic Class
In this 2 part class water marble your very own 3D Ceramic Item (seasonal products available). You will also learn a brief history of water marbling and see a demonstration on the proper techniques and how to use the tools to create a unique design. In the first session you will marble your piece. The second session you will paint the inside of the item and then seal with an acrylic sealer. Suggested age ranges for this class is as follows: 10 years old and up. We suggest a minimum of 5 people but can accommodate up to 20 people. First session will be roughly 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Second session will be roughly 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
